Who Can Use OLHI?
Virtually all consumers of Canadian health and life insurance products and services can use our no cost services, including:
- Consumers who have question about their policy or service;
- Consumers who have an inquiry about their company complaint
handling process; - Consumers who have not received their insurance company’s final decision within 90 days of the insurer’s letter acknowledging receipt of their complaint;
- Consumers who have completed their company complaint handling process and wish to use our independent complaint handling process to attempt a voluntary resolution of their complaint.
